Meet the team

Juy graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, majoring in Human Structure and Function, before chasing the better weather to Sydney to complete his Master of Physiotherapy at The University of Sydney (2018). He is an accredited YMCA Disability Support Trainer and registered ASCA Strength and Conditioning Coach and AWF Weightlifting and Sports Power Coach.

Juy has been awarded two highly competitive mentoring programs in 2018 through The University of Sydney (FHS Leadership Mentoring Program) and APA Sports Physiotherapy Association (SPA Mentoring Program). These programs have further built on his leadership skills and experience working with The University of Sydney Women’s AFL and Gymnastics NSW and exposed him to Sydney Swans Academy, Sydney Half Marathon and Sydney City to Surf.

Through Adrenaline HIT, Juy has published courses covering Functional Training, Kettlebell and Suspension and Bodyweight Training. He is also working alongside researchers from the University of Sydney to gather data looking at the ‘Physiological Profile and Injury Characteristics in University Athletes’. As such Juy maintains a strong interest in the latest research into sports medicine, high performance and strength and conditioning.

Juy has previously competed at a representative level in junior cricket, including a Youth Development Tour of Sri Lanka, and enjoyed AFL and athletics. He has a keen interest in acute sporting injuries, bio-mechanical analysis and working with athletes to help them achieve their athletic goals and stay injury free. To achieve this, his treatment incorporates key aspects of physiotherapy and strength and conditioning. Juy is a strong believer that education, self-management and strength training all play a very important part of optimising sporting performance and preventing/managing injuries.
